The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gold clinches with his opponent.
Love goes for a takedown attempt but Gold pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gold thuds a left hand into Love's body.
Gold scores with a decent looking hook.

Gold shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Gold lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Gold takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gold connects with a nice short shot to Love's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Love is pressing down on Gold's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gold keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Love's head.

Love pushes a forearm under Gold's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gold is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
