Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Regolo Gallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William John!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Regolo Gallo!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallo closes this distance looking for a takedown but John circles away.
Gallo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
John goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gallo misses with a takedown
and John moves into the clinch.
Gallo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as John walks away with a smile on his face. Gallo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
William John has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Regolo Gallo.
John defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gallo.
John connects with a body shot.
John feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gallo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. John doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gallo is tightening it up a little... John has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! John reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! John taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gallo!

A less than humble Regolo Gallo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
