Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denver Ingram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Denver Ingram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Riley!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ingram on his heels. He'll look to pass Ingram's guard now, I'm sure.
Riley is standing up over Ingram. Ingram looks to escape but Riley dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.


Riley decides to stand back up. Riley steps back and let's Ingram get back to his feet.

Riley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ingram did well to prevent Riley getting side control.
Ingram wants to get back to his feet.
Riley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ingram's head.
Ingram trying to control here.
Riley thows a huge punch but Ingram dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ingram wants to improve his position but Riley is controlling well.
Ingram trying to hold on to Riley's head to control him but Riley postures up.

Riley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ingram's head.
Ingram is trying to stand.

Riley decides to return to a standing position.
Riley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ingram gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Riley to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ingram is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Riley is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Riley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Riley throws a sloppy head kick and Ingram moves out of range easily.
As Riley tries to get set, Ingram tries to push him back and clinch up but Riley manages to avoid the attempt.

Riley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ingram to the mat! Ingram manages to get full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Riley works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ingram scores with a few weak punches.
Riley prevents Ingram from improving his position.
Ingram trying to hold on to Riley's head to control him but Riley postures up.

Ingram tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Riley has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Riley sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Riley get's back to his feet.

Riley clinches with his opponent.

Riley is trying to trip Ingram. He has hold of a leg but Ingram is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Riley persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ingram will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Riley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Riley is looking to clinch but Ingram is avoiding it.
Ingram has a takedown stuffed.
Riley replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Ingram blocks it well.
Riley tries to clinch but Ingram moves away
and Ingram counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Riley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Riley seems to be looking for submissions.
Riley looks winded!
Riley wants to control but Ingram is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Riley dominated that round.
That's time! Ingram's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Ingram counters with a three punch combo that has Riley backing up. Riley nods at Ingram to acknowledge the strikes.
Riley leaves Ingram with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Riley forces Ingram back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riley works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Riley has hold of one of Ingram's legs. Ingram is fighting the takedown attempt but Riley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Ingram looking for a sweep. Not yet Ingram, not yet.
Riley won't allow Ingram to get back to his feet.

Riley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Riley wants to control from the top but Ingram keeps moving.

Ingram looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Riley passes into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Riley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ingram defending well though.
Riley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Riley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Ingram tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ingram is trying to control but can't.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Riley clinches up with Ingram and pushes him back against the cage.

Riley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Riley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ingram wants to sweep but Riley has passed to side control!
Ingram is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ingram is working hard here to advance position.
Ingram avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Riley.

Riley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Riley goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ingram rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Riley's guard! Nice work there by Ingram!

Riley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ingram gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Riley is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Riley has a closed guard, preventing Ingram from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Riley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Riley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ingram napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Ingram tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Riley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Riley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ingram is looking to regain half guard here but Riley keeps moving and retains side control.
Riley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ingram sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ingram is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Riley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ingram keeps working.

Ingram wants to control but Riley postures up.
Ingram really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ingram tries to buck Riley off but Riley is having none of it.
Riley advances to full mount.

Riley avoids the attempt from Ingram to control.
Ingram keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Riley throws some wild stikes that Ingram manages to avoid easily.

Ingram is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ingram throws a push kick but Riley slaps the foot to one side.
Sean Riley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Riley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ingram throws Riley to one side and escapes!

And that's the end of the fight!
Denver Ingram showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Riley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
