Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James DeGale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeGale misses with a lunging right hand
and Hunter counters with a nice double leg into guard.
DeGale pushes Hunter off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Hunter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hunter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that James DeGale will probably get the nod.

DeGale fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hunter.
DeGale's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hunter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! DeGale scrambles back to his feet.

DeGale plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Hunter to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Hunter just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

A very excited looking James DeGale made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
