Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shoto Murasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murasaki comes to the ring accompanied by PRIDE FC Theme. The crowd seem to be enjoying Alves's choice of entrance music: Sick Puppies - You're Going Down. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoto Murasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Alves! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murasaki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alves. Alves now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Murasaki takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Murasaki shoots and misses and Alves connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Alves connects with a crisp jab. Alves jabs Murasaki to the body, keeping him at a distance. Alves cracks Murasaki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Alves throws out a leg kick but Murasaki moves out of range and Alves only half commits. Murasaki throws a front kick aimed at Alves's knee but Alves avoids it well. Murasaki moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Murasaki throws a lazy head kick and Alves counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Murasaki breaks from the clinch.
Alves has Murasaki up against the ropes in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! Alves lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Murasaki or not. Alves lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves lands on the inside with an uppercut. Alves lands with a light punch inside. Alves lands an uppercut. Alves has Murasaki pressed against the ropes.
Murasaki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Murasaki wants a takedown.
Alves slows down the pace here.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Alves creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right from Alves. Alves unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Murasaki! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but Alves is unloading with more strikes now! Murasaki drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricardo Alves! A relieved looking Ricardo Alves thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Shoto Murasaki was interviewed post fight and said 'People get caught, it's not extraordinary for me. I'll be back strong.'.
