Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Slayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rolf Allan Mjunstedt! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Slayer. Slayer is looking to clinch. Mjunstedt feints the counter takedown. Mjunstedt blocks a head kick by Slayer.
Mjunstedt's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slayer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mjunstedt scrambles back to his feet. We've been hearing reports that Slayer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Mjunstedt throws a right hand that Slayer ducks under and follows up with a left that Slayer also avoids with ease. Slayer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mjunstedt shoots in but Slayer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Slayer tries a head kick but it misses.

Slayer throws a nice inside leg kick. Mjunstedt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slayer circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mjunstedt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Frank Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolf Allan Mjunstedt. Slayer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mjunstedt manages to avoid it. Slayer misses with a wild body shot. Mjunstedt dives in for a single leg takedown but Slayer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Slayer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mjunstedt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slayer's waist but Slayer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mjunstedt off to one side. Slayer looks to score with a jab to the body but Mjunstedt is just out of range. Mjunstedt listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Slayer throws a body punch but Mjunstedt moves out of range. Slayer slips a straight right by Mjunstedt. Slayer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mjunstedt under the eye. A head kick misses from Slayer. Mjunstedt shoots in for a takedown but Slayer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Slayer lands a head kick!
Slayer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Slayer throws a head kick that misses. Mjunstedt drops his hands momentarily and Slayer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Mjunstedt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mjunstedt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayer gets back to half guard. Slayer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Slayer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Slayer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mjunstedt postures up in Slayer's guard and throws a big left but Slayer blocks it. Slayer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mjunstedt pushes down on Slayer's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mjunstedt trying to pass the guard but Slayer defending well. Slayer gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer is looking to stand up but Mjunstedt isn't so interested in that idea. Slayer looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mjunstedt is defending well. Slayer quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mjunstedt has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Slayer celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
