Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felton Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ginta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Daniel Ginta enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Felton Simpson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Ginta! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Ginta.
It looks like Felton Simpson has been cut. Daniel Ginta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ginta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ginta misses with a low kick.
A quick step to the side and Simpson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Simpson moves out of range of the body kick. It looked like Simpson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ginta. Ginta turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Simpson closes the distance and clinches. Ginta drops Simpson with a big knee straight up the middle! Simpson is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Simpson is rocked! Simpson goes for a double leg but Ginta avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ginta continues to drive forward. Oh Simpson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ginta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Simpson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. This has been an exciting period of action! Simpson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ginta appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Ginta throws a head kick that misses. Simpson is looking for a counter combo. Ginta pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Simpson counters with a one-two to the body. Simpson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ginta misses with a double jab.
Ginta gets tackled into the cage by Simpson. Simpson maintains the clinch. Simpson seems to have got his legs back now. Simpson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ginta scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Simpson manages to mount him!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Simpson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simpson looking to control and managing it successfully. Ginta is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Simpson controlling the pace for now. Simpson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Simpson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson takes Ginta's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Ginta is in trouble. Simpson lands with a hammerfist to the side of Ginta's head. Ginta covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Simpson lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ginta is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Simpson.
Ginta felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Simpson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Further stalling from Simpson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Felton Simpson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Felton Simpson's cut. That's time! Simpson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Simpson has managed to clinch.
Simpson lands a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Simpson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Simpson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Simpson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Simpson landing with the ground and pound. Ginta is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simpson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Simpson is in close to Ginta's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Simpson darts in and clinches Ginta up against the cage. Simpson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ginta prevents the takedown attempt.
Simpson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ginta pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felton Simpson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Simpson managing to block the knees to the body from Ginta.
Simpson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ginta avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Simpson tries to score a body lock takedown but Ginta shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Simpson pulls guard. Simpson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ginta's guard. Simpson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Simpson landing with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Simpson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ginta can do to turn this around? Simpson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ginta for as long as he can get away with. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felton Simpson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Felton Simpson's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Simpson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Simpson pulls guard. Simpson has his feet on Ginta's thighs here. He's pushed Ginta off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ginta screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
