Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hossein Vaziri I I I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tucker Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas has chosen Get Off On The Pain - Gary Allan as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vaziri I I I sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thomas somewhat.
Thomas forces Vaziri I I I back against the cage and clinches.
Thomas tries to work over Vaziri I I I's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Vaziri I I I wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Vaziri I I I misses with a punch on the inside.
Thomas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vaziri I I I keeps the fight on the outside.
Vaziri I I I connects with the punch.
Vaziri I I I lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Tucker Thomas has been cut.
Vaziri I I I with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas closes the distance and clinches.
Vaziri I I I wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vaziri I I I misses with a jab to the body
and Thomas counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vaziri I I I. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thomas wants to counter the offense by Vaziri I I I and move into the clinch position.
Vaziri I I I circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thomas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Thomas is rocked!
Vaziri I I I throws a hook to the side of Thomas's head but Thomas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vaziri I I I cracks Thomas with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Thomas tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vaziri I I I pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Thomas is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hossein Vaziri I I I!
