The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galloway throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Light's waist but Light gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Galloway off to one side.
Light rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Galloway moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Galloway stuffs the takedown attempt from Light. Light gets slowly back to his feet.
Light sizes up Galloway with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Mike Galloway has been cut.

Light has taken the fight to the clinch.

Light successfully pulls guard.
Light pulls Galloway in to control the position.
Galloway wants to control from the top but Light keeps moving.
Galloway has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Light is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Light keeping moving, preventing Galloway from controlling successfully.

Light has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Galloway doesn't defend quickly enough and Light has managed to lock this one up! Can Galloway escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Light on a fantastic submission victory.
