PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beck has chosen Adventure Club - Do I See Color as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jonathan Crane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Beck!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Beck counters with a one-two to the body.

Beck closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Crane quickly recovers to half guard.

That's time! Crane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Beck drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beck jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Beck and the ref steps in to end the fight! Beck can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Marcus Beck very nearly forgot to thank KAISER Nutrition - Q160/$250 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
