Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dickie Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurmas Uusisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dickie Crash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
42 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurmas Uusisto! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crash throws a lazy right hand but Uusisto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Uusisto appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Crash lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Jurmas Uusisto has been cut. Uusisto loads up on a big right hand but Crash slips the punch. Uusisto shoots in for a double leg but Crash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Uusisto takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Crash throws a body punch but Uusisto moves out of range. Uusisto scores with a decent looking hook. Crash checks a leg kick. Jurmas Uusisto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uusisto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crash tries to avoid it but Uusisto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crash to the ground. Crash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Crash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Uusisto throws the kick towards the body but Crash avoids it. Crash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crash rushes Uusisto and presses him up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Crash connects with a nasty looking knee right to Uusisto's face.

Dickie Crash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jurmas Uusisto. Crash trying to land knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short uppercut from Uusisto. Uusisto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Crash uses from the top position. Crash wants to pass the guard but Uusisto is keeping the position. Crash advances to half guard. Uusisto is looking for a sweep. Crash is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Crash is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crash trying to mount his opponent but Uusisto defends it. Crash is working hard here to advance position. Crash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uusisto looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Uusisto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Uusisto makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Uusisto. Crash content to stall in guard here. Crash wants to pass the guard but Uusisto is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uusisto has Crash pulled in close to control his posture. Crash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Uusisto swivels though and keeps the full guard. Crash wants to control from the top but Uusisto keeps moving. Uusisto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crash is one step ahead there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Uusisto looks to land a combination but Crash avoids it well. Crash takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Crash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Uusisto was well out of range. Poor timing from Crash. Crash scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash lands with a cross. Uusisto darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Uusisto is trying to control. Crash wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Uusisto is nestled in close to Crash, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Crash is looking to improve his position.
Crash keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crash trying to control but Uusisto postures up.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Crash gets full guard. Crash wants to sweep here but Uusisto controlling him for the moment. Crash is trying to control the position but Uusisto postures up. Crash seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Crash is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crash is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Uusisto trying to control but Crash is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Crash looks to score with a jab to the body but Uusisto is just out of range. Crash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uusisto.
A decent looking cross lands there for Crash. Crash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uusisto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Uusisto or perhaps it was just good defense by Crash, which made it look bad. A jab lands there for Uusisto. Crash scores with a nice head shot. Dickie Crash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Uusisto. Those never looked like landing. Crash darts in trying to clinch and Uusisto counters with a straight right hand.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. A jab from Uusisto misses. Crash getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Crash has Uusisto up against the cage in a clinch.

Uusisto is trying to break the clinch but Crash is controlling him. Crash lands a good knee to the midsection. Uusisto won't want to take too many of those. Uusisto looking to stall.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. Crash is working Uusisto over against the cage. Crash lands a nice elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Uusisto takes a knee to the side of the body. Uusisto looks winded! Uusisto swings wildly with an uppercut but Crash uses good head movement to avoid it. With the fighters up against the cage, Crash throws an elbow but misses. Crash stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Crash landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Uusisto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crash just stands there and leans against the cage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Crash obliges. Crash trying to land knees to the body.
Uusisto trying to control the position but instead, Crash has worked for underhooks and has pushed Uusisto into the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Crash.
That has opened up Jurmas Uusisto's cut even more. Crash lands a damaging elbow.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Uusisto avoiding damage as Crash throws knees to the body.

Uusisto tries to score a body lock takedown but Crash shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Uusisto misses with a punch on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Crash. Uusisto lands with a short head shot on the inside. Crash is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Uusisto is defending well for now. Uusisto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crash after a bit of a struggle. Crash with an attempt at a knee that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Uusisto fails to land. Crash lands an elbow inside. Crash digs a right hand into Uusisto's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Uusisto's gas tank. Uusisto takes an elbow to the forehead. Crash is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Uusisto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Crash walks away with a smile on his face. Uusisto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Crash buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Dickie Crash showed his dominance in that final round. I think Crash has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
