The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masahira avoids the head kick by Yabuki.
Masahira tries for a takedown but Yabuki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Yabuki counters by moving into the clinch.

Joe Yabuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Satoshi Masahira.
Masahira drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yabuki pulls his leg out and moves away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yabuki.

Masahira takes a knee to the side of the body.
Masahira has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Yabuki avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yabuki gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Yabuki keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Masahira's head.

Yabuki is sitting in close to Masahira's body. Masahira has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Yabuki is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Yabuki is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Masahira.
