Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petey Flowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Petey Flowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
48 - 70 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flowers throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Pending counters with a nice double leg into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Pending stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flowers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pending wants to control from the top but Flowers keeps moving. Flowers can't keep his opponent in guard - Pending advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Pending wants to take a breather but Flowers is having none of it. Flowers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flowers is refusing to be controlled, as Pending sits in half guard. Flowers is trying to maintain the position but Pending is very close to passing his half guard. Pending is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pending is thwarting Flowers's attempts to control the position. Pending seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Pending prevents Flowers from improving his position. Pending is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Flowers doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pending. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flowers is looking to control Pending's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Flowers avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pending is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Flowers has managed to free his arm - good work. Flowers trying to control but Pending postures up.
Flowers is looking for a sweep. Pending is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pending wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flowers keeps working. Flowers is defending against the submission attempts here by Pending.
Flowers tries to get to full guard but Pending has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pending trying to pass the guard but Flowers defending well. Pending is working for a submission of some sort.

Pending is looking for a kimura but Flowers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pending to get the leverage. Flowers is refusing to be controlled, as Pending sits in half guard. Flowers keeping hold of Pending's head, controlling as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pending is working for a kimura but Flowers is defending it quite comfortably.
