Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gao Chao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gao Chao!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chao.

Chao closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kane quickly recovers to half guard.
Kane is trying to get back to full guard.
Chao wants to stand up but Kane is controlling the position.
Chao keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Kane moves into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Chao missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Chao drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Chao works to advance to full mount. Kane defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Kane is squirming around, avoiding Chao's attempts to control the action.
Kane can't escape the position.
Kane tries to lock up and control but Chao gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

BOOM! Chao connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Kane wants to get back to full guard.
Chao tries to stand and escape but Kane is controlling the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kane gets full guard.
Chao throws a big elbow that misses.
Chao is looking to advance position but Kane has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kane has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chao should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kane has tightened it up now! Chao should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
