Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Theros Ironfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierce Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ironfist.
Ironfist throws a sloppy head kick and Quincy moves out of range easily.
Both fighters circling a little - Quincy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Quincy's coach down at Hell's Balls NY Hellcademy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Quincy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Quincy scores with a hook.
Ironfist throws a series of punches but Quincy moves out of range.
Ironfist has been working on his boxing with his coaches at School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) in the buildup to the fight.
Ironfist looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ironfist swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Quincy counters with a body kick.
Quincy lands a leg kick that knocks Ironfist off balance momentarily.
Ironfist tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Quincy slips under a jab from Ironfist.
Quincy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Quincy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ironfist has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It seemed like Quincy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Quincy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Good leg kick by Quincy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Quincy counters with a huge head kick that drops Ironfist! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
