Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Barnett has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Barnett seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barnett is trying to trip Spencer. He has hold of a leg but Spencer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Barnett persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Barnett content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Barnett won't allow Spencer to get back to his feet.
Barnett landing with the ground and pound.
Barnett won't allow Spencer to sweep him here.
Barnett connects with a couple of short punches.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barnett's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Spencer throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Spencer has momentary wrist control but Barnett slips an elbow through the middle.
Spencer is rocked!
It looks like Lance Spencer has been cut.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Barnett loads up on a big left hand. Spencer felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Barnett looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Spencer can't hide his disappointment, as Barnett celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Barnett!
