Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Guerro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominick Verk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dominick Verk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Verk lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guerro tries to buck Verk off but Verk is having none of it.

Guerro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Verk tries to avoid it but Guerro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Verk to the ground. Verk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Verk shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Verk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Dominick Verk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Guerro has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Verk has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Guerro taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Verk doesn't care though - he's delighted!
