The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laane throws a head kick that Hoo semi-blocks.
Laane lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hoo shoots for a double leg takedown but Laane sprawls well. He's pushed Hoo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Andrus Laane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laane blocks the body kick.
Laane takes a swing at Hoo's ribcage but misses.
Hoo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hoo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laane was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoo.

Laane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Laane throws out a loose jab but Hoo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hoo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Laane throws a looping overhand right but Hoo ducks down to avoid it.
Hoo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Laane throws a body kick that misses.
Laane misses with a two punch combination.
Hoo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Laanes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Laane moves in looking to clinch but Hoo pushes him off.

Laane throws a right hand that Hoo ducks under and follows up with a left that Hoo also avoids with ease.

Laane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hoo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Hoo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Laane looks for the body kick but Hoo saw that one coming.
Hoo attempts a counter takedown but Laane avoids it well and moves away.

Laane bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

and Hoo makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Laane really felt that one!

The fighters circle, before Hoo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Laane's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hoo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
