The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindgraf shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Leeroy Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jenkins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jenkins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins controls the position. Lindgraf misses with a strike from the bottom. Jenkins controls the position. Jenkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jenkins trying to control the position but Lindgraf is working away. Lindgraf gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lindgraf is holding on to half guard well. Jenkins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lindgraf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindgraf holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Lindgraf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jenkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jenkins's back! Our spies down at at Bloodsport Gym 16 Elites inform us that Lindgraf has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Lindgraf is looking to control Jenkins but Jenkins is wriggling around and keeping busy. Lindgraf is looking for the choke from the back position but Jenkins is controlling his hands well. You can see the frustration on Jenkins's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Jenkins wants to get back to his feet. Lindgraf tries to keep control of the position but Jenkins is staying busy. Lindgraf working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Jenkins is doing well to defend. Lindgraf seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Jenkins is forced to tap and this one is over!

Our winner, Mats Lindgraf, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
