With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gray Villa!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Kilmers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Villa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kilmers works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Villa gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Kilmers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kilmers has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kilmers controlling the pace for now.
Villa is wriggling around trying to escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kilmers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Villa defends it well.

Villa is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kilmers pulls his head out easily.
Villa is staying active underneath Kilmers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kilmers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maurice Kilmers will probably get the nod.
