Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duane Stockton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Clinton Offley! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stockton thows a leg kick but Offley checks it and Offley counters with a single leg into guard. Stockton didn't expect that. Stockton keeping full guard, as Offley tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stockton can't keep his opponent in guard - Offley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Stockton won't allow Offley to pass to mount. Offley is looking for a kimura here.
Stockton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Offley. Stockton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Offley on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Offley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Offley is looking for a kimura but Stockton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Offley to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Offley wants to pass to mount but Stockton is defending the position. Stockton tries to roll over but Offley keeps him under control. Offley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Offley not landing any meaningful shots this time. Offley wants to control but Stockton is keeping him busy. Offley missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Offley wants to take a breather but Stockton is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Offley is working for a kimura but Stockton is defending it quite comfortably.
Offley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stockton defends it well. Stockton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Offley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Offley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stockton has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Offley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stockton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Offley is trying to work for a kimura but Stockton is defending well.
Offley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stockton is in trouble now - Offley has advanced to mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Offley thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Offley unloading with bombs!
It looks like Duane Stockton has been cut. Offley misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Offley tries to control but Stockton wriggling away. Offley with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stockton tries to lock up and control but Offley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Offley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clinton Offley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Duane Stockton's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Offley dodges the punch combination from Stockton.
Stockton throws a right and a left that Offley avoids nicely. And Offley tries to counter it with a takedown but Stockton pushes his down on his head and steps out. Stockton misses with a double jab
and Offley counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stockton! Clinton Offley has got the better of the ground game so far. Offley tries for a kimura but Stockton is defending well. Offley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stockton looks calm but he's in trouble here. Offley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stockton is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Offley lets go of the hold and Stockton can pop his arm back in it's socket.
