Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lao Shin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sambo Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shin comes to the cage accompanied by Shaolin Chamber of Death. Lao Shin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Lao Shin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sambo Rambo! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shin misses with a wild body shot. Rambo moves in looking to clinch but Shin pushes him off. Rambo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rambo is looking to pass into half guard but Shin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Shin is in guard. Rambo keeping moving, preventing Shin from controlling successfully. Shin preventing the sweep. Rambo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Shin stopping the sweep attempt from Rambo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shin's corner is telling him to maintain position. Shin trying to control the position from guard on top but Rambo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rambo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shin manages to get himself to full guard.
Rambo is fighting to break Shin's control of his arms but Shin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rambo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shin is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rambo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Shin is trying to get back to half guard. The strikes coming from Rambo are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Rambo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Shin avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Rambo. Rambo in side control lands a decent elbow. Shin is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shin is trying to control Rambo's posture but Rambo avoids it. Rambo working the ground and pound from side control. Rambo working away. Rambo advances nicely into full mount. BOOM! Rambo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rambo working his ground and pound in the gym. Shin is desperately trying to improve his position but Rambo has a good base and remains in mount. Shin is bucking up trying to escape but Rambo cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rambo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rambo looking for a guillotine from mount but Shin is having none of it. Rambo landing shots from mount. Shin tries to hold on but Rambo postures up. Rambo punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shin wants to control but Rambo is having none of it. Shin manages to regain half guard. Good work. Shin is not content to let Rambo control the position. Rambo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Shin defend it? Rambo steps over the head and cranks it - Shin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rambo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sambo Rambo! A less than humble Sambo Rambo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
