The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hapitchou throws out a leg kick but Wong moves out of range and Hapitchou only half commits.
Wong's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hapitchou connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wong scrambles back to his feet.
Hapitchou circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hapitchou counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hapitchou connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wong on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Wong moves into range and clinches up with Hapitchou.
Wong scores with a knee to the head.
Wong throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hapitchou blocks it with crossed arms.

I was talking to Hapitchou's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wong misses with a knee to the head.

Hapitchou is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Wong rolls with it to try and escape but Hapitchou cranks on the arm and Wong is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
