Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Wrestler Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Eddles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Wrestler Ii has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, The Wrestler Ii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Simon Eddles!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrestler Ii misses with a straight left.
Jab, jab by Wrestler Ii - just one landing.
Eddles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wrestler Ii could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Eddles looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wrestler Ii is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

and Wrestler Ii counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Wrestler Ii overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wrestler Ii creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Eddles sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Wrestler Ii takes a little break here. Eddles wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Wrestler Ii sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Eddles is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Wrestler Ii tries to score with some ground and pound. Eddles controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Wrestler Ii looks up at the clock and then as Eddles takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wrestler Ii smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Wrestler Ii cracks Eddles with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Eddles wants to control but Wrestler Ii postures up.
Wrestler Ii remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Wrestler Ii throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wrestler Ii has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Eddles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wrestler Ii is working away from the top position though.

Eddles moves in looking to clinch but Wrestler Ii pushes him off.

As Wrestler Ii backs off Eddles throws a huge counter combo but Wrestler Ii manages to avoid it all.

Eddles tries to close the distance and clinch but Wrestler Ii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wrestler Ii closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wrestler Ii goes for a takedown attempt but Eddles pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The Wrestler Ii showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Wrestler Ii has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
