And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabob scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kabob postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The strikes coming from Kabob are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Kabob fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hannibal wants to control but Kabob postures up.
Hannibal parries the strikes from Kabob easily there. Kabob is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hannibal to escape.
Hannibal is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kabob off and has taken his back!
Kabob is trying to break free.
Hannibal is trying to stick to Kabob's back but Kabob is turning into Hannibal. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hannibal's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kabob.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kabob has gone for a leg lock! Hannibal slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kabob's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hannibal postures up.
Hannibal wants to control from the top but Kabob keeps moving.
Hannibal drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kabob dives on top into guard.
Hannibal is breathing heavily.

Hannibal is rocked!
Hannibal has momentary wrist control but Kabob slips an elbow through the middle.
Oh Hannibal is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kabob seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kabob sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hannibal's guard.
Kabob is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kabob lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Kabob scores with a big shot! Hannibal's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Hannibal! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
