Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennison scores with a jab.
A slow jab from Kong misses its intended target.
Kong does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dennison gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Dennison uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kong misses with an attempted mid kick.
It seemed like Dennison was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kong misses with a hook. Dennison ducked under it nicely.
A countering left hand to the body from Dennison misses.
Dennison bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kong closes the distance and pushes Dennison back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kong fails to pull guard.
Kong misses with a punch on the inside.
Kong prevents Dennison from breaking the clinch.

Kong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dennison fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dennison swings for the body but Kong moves out of range.
Kong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kong breaks from the clinch.
Dennison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dennison! But no joy.
Dennison catches Kong with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Kong scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dennison moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dennison misses the shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dennison scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kong is breathing heavily.

Dennison cracks Kong with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kong looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dennison finish him?

Kong is rocked!
Matt Dennison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kong throws a series of punches but Dennison moves out of range.
Oh Kong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dennison jabs at Kong's body.
Kong seems to have got his legs back now.
Dennison fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kong checks it well.
Kong checks a leg kick.
Kong is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Dennison feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kong sprawling to the canvas! Kong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dennison finish him?!
Dennison ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Kong's jaw. Kong's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Dennison does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
