Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Slyker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slyker's entrance music is Richard Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries. A fine choice. Walters has chosen Send my love to the Dance Floor by Cobra Starship as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Walters shoots in for a double leg but Slyker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Slyker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Walters tries to get to full guard but Slyker has control of the leg.

Walters has Slyker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Slyker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Walters is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slyker.
Andre Walters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slyker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
