The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyrzykowski throws a head kick that half lands.
Shamarov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shamarov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wyrzykowski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Shamarov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Wyrzykowski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shamarov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wyrzykowski somewhat.
Shamarov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wyrzykowski on his heels. He'll look to pass Wyrzykowski's guard now, I'm sure.
Shamarov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wyrzykowski on the ground.

Shamarov is looking to advance position but Wyrzykowski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Shamarov misses with a takedown attempt - Wyrzykowski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wyrzykowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shamarov tries to avoid it but Wyrzykowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shamarov to the ground. Shamarov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Shamarov is nestled in close to Wyrzykowski, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shamarov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wyrzykowski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
