Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Wonstom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathaniel Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonstom comes to the cage accompanied by Avenged Sevenfold - Lips Of Deceit. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Wonstom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathaniel Armstrong! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong slips under a jab from Wonstom. Armstrong misses with a wild combination.
Wonstom uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Armstrong. Wonstom lands with a straight right. Armstrong didn't see that one coming. Wonstom throws a front kick aimed at Armstrong's knee but Armstrong avoids it well. Armstrong fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Armstrong has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Nice defenses there by Armstrong. And Armstrong tries to counter it with a takedown but Wonstom pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wonstom swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Armstrong counters with a shoot takedown. Wonstom fights it but they end up in guard. Armstrong wants to control from the top but Wonstom keeps moving. Wonstom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Armstrong on the ground. Armstrong stops Wonstom from standing up. Armstrong drops back looking for a leg! Wonstom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wonstom manages to kick Armstrong off! Armstrong jumps back into Wonstom's guard. Armstrong trying to control the position from guard on top but Wonstom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wonstom wants to get back to his feet but Armstrong is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wonstom wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Armstrong manages to pass to side control. Armstrong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wonstom doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Armstrong.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Armstrong is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wonstom has managed to free his arm - good work. Wonstom is trying to stand up here but Armstrong is controlling him well. Still in half guard, Armstrong seems content to control. Wonstom kicks off Armstrong and gets to his feet. Armstrong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wonstom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wonstom but Wonstom pushes him off and we're back to square one. Armstrong blocks a jab. Wonstom throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wonstom avoids the body shot from Armstrong.
No luck for Armstrong with that takedown attempt. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Donk. Armstrong catches Wonstom right on the button with a cross. A looping hook to the body misses from Wonstom. Armstrong does a little dance to reset his feet. Good standup being displayed there by Armstrong as he connects with a hook. Wonstom catches Armstrong with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Armstrong looking to score a takedown here. Wonstom is defending well but Armstrong drives through and ends up in Wonstom's guard. Wonstom wants to stand and escape but Armstrong is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Armstrong trying to control the position from guard on top but Wonstom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Armstrong passes into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wonstom is trying to stand up here but Armstrong is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nathaniel Armstrong will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wonstom misses with an uppercut. Armstrong saw that one coming. Wonstom throws a looping overhand right but Armstrong ducks down to avoid it. Armstrong throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wonstom tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Armstrong is in Wonstom's guard. Armstrong has gone for a leg lock! Wonstom slips out almost immediately though and dives into Armstrong's guard. Armstrong has a closed guard, preventing Wonstom from standing up. Armstrong looking for a guillotine here but Wonstom defends easily.
Wonstom stands and steps away. Armstrong gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ivan Wonstom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wonstom misses with a series of wild punches.

Armstrong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wonstom throws out the jab. Sloppy strikes from Armstrong. Those never looked like landing. A little feinted left hand from Wonstom on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ivan Wonstom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Armstrong misses with a low kick. Nice shot by Wonstom. A nice inside leg kick there by Wonstom. That's going to slow Armstrong down. Armstrong slips under a jab. Armstrong misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Armstrong scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wonstom misses with a hook. Wonstom misses with a two punch combination.
Wonstom takes a swing at Armstrong's ribcage but misses. Wonstom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Armstrong was well out of range. Poor timing from Wonstom. Armstrong cracks the inside of Wonstom's front leg. Wonstom thows a left - swing and a miss!

Wonstom scores with a crisp jab that stopped Armstrong in his tracks. Armstrong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wonstom cracks Armstrong with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Wonstom misses with a hook. Wonstom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wonstom scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Armstrong doesn't seem bothered though. Armstrong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wonstom as he jumps to the side. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Armstrong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wonstom is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Armstrong can do to turn this around? Armstrong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wonstom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Armstrong somewhat. Armstrong misses with a straight left. Wonstom slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Wonstom throws a big shot that misses. Wonstom scores with a jab to the body. Armstrong throws a shot to the body.
Ivan Wonstom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wonstom lands with a nice body punch.
