Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lily Hilgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by skillet ~ monster . Desmond Nelson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Desmond Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilgers shoots in but no luck this time.
Hilgers fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nelson avoids it really well and circles away.
Hilgers takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nelson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hilgers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nelson to the ground. Hilgers is now in Nelson's guard.

Hilgers seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nelson for as long as he can get away with.

Lily Hilgers is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hilgers is taking a breather. Nelson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lily Hilgers.
