Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Boudain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dante Boudain has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dante Boudain seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boudain moves into range and clinches up with Halo.
Halo misses with a hook to the ribs.

Boudain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boudain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boudain misses with a low kick.
Boudain pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Halo counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Halo tries to throw a body punch but Boudain avoids it by throwing Halo back against the cage.

I was talking to Boudain's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Halo gets tackled into the cage by Boudain. Boudain maintains the clinch.
Halo pushes Boudain back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Boudain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Halo's elbow.

Halo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Halo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Boudain.

Boudain throws a low kick, looking for Halo's leg but Halo calmly moves out of range.
Halo unleashes a big counter combination but Boudain bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Halo avoids the body shot from Boudain.
Halo appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

and Halo counters with a head kick that drops Boudain to the mat! Boudain scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

and Halo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oh Boudain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Halo counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Boudain out cold! What a finish! Halo is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
