The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ostergren fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sims, pushing him back against the cage.
Sims connects with a knee to the head.
Sims is looking to break free of the clinch but Ostergren has double underhooks.
Sims jumps guard but Ostergren turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Sims is looking to control Ostergren's arms but Ostergren gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sims has his back to the cage.
Sims is looking to take this one to the mat.
Ostergren wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sims has him pressed against the cage.
Sims looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ostergren wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sims is trying to drag Ostergren to the mat but Ostergren just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sims jumps guard but Ostergren stands there with Sims around his waist. Sims gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sims throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ostergren's waist but Ostergren gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sims off to one side.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ostergren or perhaps it was just good defense by Sims, which made it look bad.

Sims leaves Ostergren with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sims jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ostergren walks away with a smile on his face. Sims gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ostergren shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sims pinned against the cage. Sims gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sims seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Ostergren closes the distance and pushes Sims back into the cage.

Sims blocks an elbow strike.
Sims has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ostergren avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
