Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick shoots in and gets a takedown into Alvarez's guard.
Dick prevents Alvarez from getting back to his feet.
Alvarez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Dick looks winded!
Dick has momentary wrist control but Alvarez slips an elbow through the middle.
Alvarez really is a fat lump.
Alvarez lands a couple of elbows.
Dick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alvarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dick is looking to sweep but instead, Alvarez has passed into half guard.
Dick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alvarez is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez wants to work for an arm triangle but Dick is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dick is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Alvarez scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alvarez prevents Dick from standing back up.
Alvarez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dick is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
