Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Canijo Enano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dai Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Canijo Enano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dai Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas tries a low kick but Enano avoids it.
Thomas cracks Enano with a good jab.


It looks like Canijo Enano has been cut.
Enano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to avoid it but Enano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thomas to the ground. Thomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Thomas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Enano is out of range and Thomas settles back down.
Enano went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Enano gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Thomas gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Enano to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Enano looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Thomas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Thomas is controlling Enano's trapped leg to prevent Enano from advancing to side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Thomas wants to improve his position but Enano is controlling well.
Thomas on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Enano really is a fat lump.
Enano tries to stand but can't do so whilst Thomas controls his leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Enano on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Enano gets a double leg takedown into Thomas's guard.
Thomas has his hands on Enano's head, controlling the position.
Thomas looking for a sweep. Not yet Thomas, not yet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Enano is looking to work some ground and pound but Thomas has wrist control.
Enano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thomas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Thomas lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thomas.
Thomas moves into range and connects with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dai Thomas dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Canijo Enano's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Enano gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Thomas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A lazy left from Thomas finds it's target.
Thomas connects with a looping right hand.
Thomas has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Thomas throws a low kick but it's checked well by Enano.
Dai Thomas seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Enano shoots in but no luck this time.
Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Enano seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Enano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Canijo Enano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thomas jabs Enano to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Enano gets the takedown into side control.

Thomas pushes Enano away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Enano gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Thomas is looking to regain half guard here but Enano keeps moving and retains side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thomas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Thomas stops Enano from passing to mount.
Enano wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy.
Thomas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Enano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Thomas holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Enano looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Thomas is looking for a sweep.
Enano trying to control the position but Thomas is working away.
Enano laying and praying for a moment but Thomas takes advantage and regains half guard.
Canijo Enano overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Thomas is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Thomas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Good exchange - Thomas coming out on top.
Thomas scores with a nice head shot.


Canijo Enano's cut is getting worse.

Thomas drops Enano with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Enano looks back up at him and smiles so Thomas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
