Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gareth Gledhill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Beans!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Beans does no damage.
Beans throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Beans cracks Gledhill with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gledhill looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Beans finish him?
It looks like Gareth Gledhill has been cut.
A punch combination from Beans misses.
Gledhill keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Beans swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gledhill seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beans tries to bum rush Gledhill with a series of wild strikes but Gledhill uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beans tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gledhill darts in and clinches Beans up against the cage.
Beans lands a left hand.
Gledhill wants to stall.
Gledhill tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beans smiles and moves away.
Gledhill is breathing heavily.
Beans wants to clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Beans looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Beans lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gledhill is rocked!
Beans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gledhill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Gledhill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beans looks to land a combination but Gledhill avoids it well.
Gledhill went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gledhill looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Beans!
Gledhill seems to have got his legs back now.
Gledhill cracks Beans with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Gledhill throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Gledhill looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Gledhill fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Gledhill happy to just control the position for now.
Beans tries to buck Gledhill off but Gledhill is having none of it.
Gledhill moves into full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gledhill sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Beans really wants to buck Gledhill off and get back to his feet.
Gledhill postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Beans looks a forlorn figure.

Poor strikes thrown by Gledhill there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Beans is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Beans slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Gledhill passes the guard and advances to mount!

Gledhill goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Beans is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Beans dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Gareth Gledhill's cut.
That's time! Gledhill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gledhill fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Beans avoids it really well and circles away.
As Gledhill backs off Beans throws a huge counter combo but Gledhill manages to avoid it all.
Gledhill avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Beans fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beans tries to close the distance and clinch but Gledhill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gledhill takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gledhill moves out of range of the leg kick from Beans.
Jim Beans seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Gledhill is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Beans just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Gledhill has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jim Beans!
In defeat, Gareth Gledhill stepped up to the mic, saying 'ahhh fuck it, didn't wanna win anyway'.
