Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuya Takimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raony Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takimoto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Takimoto throws a series of punches but Rios moves out of range.
Takimoto swings for the body but Rios moves out of range.
Takimoto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rios.
Rios shoots for a double leg takedown but Takimoto sprawls well. He's pushed Rios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tetsuya Takimoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raony Rios.
Takimoto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tetsuya Takimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rios shoots in for a takedown but Takimoto shows good takedown defense.

Rios goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Takimoto has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rios but great work by Takimoto.
Takimoto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rios has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rios tries to buck Takimoto off but Takimoto is having none of it.

Takimoto has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A punch combination from Takimoto misses.
Takimoto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Takimoto dances in with a quick combination. Rios is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Takimoto snaps Rios's head back. Rios stumbles backwards against the cage. Takimoto steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Rios's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Rios just didn't come prepared.
