Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cactus Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drago might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Drago. Jack has chosen Symphony Of Destruction by Megadeth as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Drago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cactus Jack! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago misses with an uppercut. Jack saw that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Jack looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Good shot there by Drago. Jack looks to land a combination but Drago avoids it well. Drago lands with a nice body punch. Jack moves in looking to clinch but Drago pushes him off. Cactus Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drago swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jack staying out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jack tries to clinch there but Drago circles away.

Jack tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Drago was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Drago throws a right hand that Jack ducks under and follows up with a left that Jack also avoids with ease. Jack defending well as Drago loads up on a big left hand. Jack tries to clinch up but Drago circles away and keeps his distance. Jack tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Drago manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Drago swats away the attempt to clinch by Jack. Drago throwing a counter right hand but Jack manages to avoid it. Drago throws a right hand that Jack ducks under and follows up with a left that Jack also avoids with ease. Jack wants to counter with a clinch but Drago pushes him away. Drago misses with a two punch combination.
Jack is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Drago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Drago misses with a straight right. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jack ducks under a wild hook from Drago.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago throws a hook but Jack avoids it easily. Drago throws a shot from downtown. Jack moves away and avoids it. Jack wants to counter the offense by Drago and move into the clinch position. Jack wants to clinch and Jack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice defenses there by Jack. Drago avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jack is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jack tries to clinch up. Drago looks to land a combination but Jack avoids it well. A jab from Drago misses. Jack moves away from the strike by Drago. Jack closes the distance looking to clinch and Drago counters with a three punch combo that has Jack backing up. Jack nods at Drago to acknowledge the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago connects with a crisp jab. Drago swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Drago is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Jack lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Drago at a distance.

Drago went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Jack drives through and clinches with Drago against the cage.
Jack has Drago pressed against the cage, preventing Drago from circling away and getting back to striking at range. With the fighters up against the cage, Jack throws an elbow but misses. Drago's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jack lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut. Drago takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Jack tries to clinch but Drago moves out of range. Jack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Drago.
Drago sets himself, and Jack steps forward looking for the clinch! Drago avoids it this time. A looping hook to the body misses from Drago. Jack does a little dance to reset his feet. Jack tries to clinch but Drago moves out of range. Jack tries to close the distance and clinch but Drago swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Drago circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jack just misses with a punch to the body.
Jack rushes Drago and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jack keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Drago's efforts to push away. Jack throws an elbow that misses.

Drago throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jacks head. Jack pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Drago's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jack doesn't manage to clinch there - Drago circles away.

Jack closes the distance but Drago moves to the side and Drago counters with a straight right hand. Drago is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jack wants to clinch but Drago slips to the side and Drago counters with a nice uppercut. Drago lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jack throws a lazy uppercut
and Drago cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Drago dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ivan Drago's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jack is rocked! Drago lands an uppercut, right on the button! Jack tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
