Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Nedkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Osterman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Osterman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boris Nedkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Osterman! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nedkov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Osterman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nedkov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Osterman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've been hearing reports that Nedkov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Osterman misses the shot to the body. Nedkov misses with a few strikes there.
Osterman checks a leg kick. No joy there for Nedkov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Osterman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Osterman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nedkov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Osterman misses with a wild combination.
Nedkov fails to land with a series of punches.
Nedkov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Osterman counters with a one-two to the body.
Nedkov is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Nedkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Osterman. Oh Nedkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nedkov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Osterman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nedkov is breathing heavily. Nedkov leaves his chin hanging out and Osterman seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nedkov crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kevin Osterman! Kevin Osterman took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
