The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze scores with a jab.
Hernandez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blaze defends it nicely.
Blaze appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hernandez misses with a takedown attempt
and Blaze counters with a series of strikes. Hernandez will be more careful next time no doubt.
Blaze lands a lovely overhand right.
Blaze throws a head kick that misses.
Blaze lands a nice hook to Hernandez's body. Hernandez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blaze smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Hernandez moves into the clinch.

Hernandez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez misses with a takedown attempt - Blaze sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hernandez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vito Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Hernandez.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blaze cracks the inside of Hernandez's front leg.
Hernandez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Blaze is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Blaze goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Blaze fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Blaze lands a jab to Hernandez's midsection.

Blaze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hernandez has a takedown stuffed.

Blaze tries to keep at a distance but Hernandez has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hernandez has picked Blaze up - he's going for a ride! Hernandez dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hernandez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Blaze is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hernandez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hernandez moves nicely into side control.
Blaze avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hernandez.
Blaze parries the strikes from Hernandez easily there. Hernandez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Blaze to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hernandez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blaze down.
Blaze knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hernandez on the ground.

Blaze is trying to escape the mount but Hernandez keeps good control and instead manages to take Blaze's back.
