Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Sorokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bee Jay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuri Sorokov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bee Jay! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sorokov is fending him off so far but Jay persists. Nope, Sorokov circles away and we're back to standing. Sorokov throws a hook to the side of Jay's head but Jay sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jay gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sorokov to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jay is trying to hold Sorokov in close to prevent damage but Sorokov has managed to pass into half guard.

Jay is still trying to improve position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sorokov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jay! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jay is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jay tries to hold on but Sorokov pushes him away. Sorokov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jay sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jay is defending against the submission attempts here by Sorokov.

Sorokov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sorokov is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jay can do to turn this around? The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sorokov. Sorokov in the domination position with Jay hanging on. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sorokov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jay looks to score with a jab to the body but Sorokov is just out of range. It looked like Sorokov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jay. Jay dives in for a single leg takedown but Sorokov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sorokov seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Jay on the wrong end of a nice jab. A jab from Sorokov does it's job there. Jay scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nice cross by Sorokov. A bone on bone clash there as Sorokov blocks the leg kick.

and Sorokov counters with a straight right hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jay swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sorokov. Sorokov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Nice takedown defense from Sorokov. No joy for Jay on that attempt. Sorokov wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Bee Jay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sorokov rushes Jay and presses him up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Yuri Sorokov showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sorokov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
