The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaperoinis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kaperoinis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

Kaperoinis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
