Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stefano Dufinbeger!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dufinbeger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kothciushco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kothciushco pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dufinbeger back to the cage. Kothciushco follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kothciushco misses with a straight left.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kothciushco, right into the meat.
Kothciushco misses with a low kick as Dufinbeger jumps back.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kothciushco.

Kothciushco gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Dufinbeger tries to bum rush Kothciushco with a series of wild strikes but Kothciushco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kothciushco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dufinbeger as he avoids it easily.

Dufinbeger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sloppy strikes from Dufinbeger. Those never looked like landing.
Kothciushco connects with a leg kick. Dufinbeger looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kothciushco is pushing Dufinbeger up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Dufinbeger tries to circle away but Kothciushco has him pinned against the cage.
Kothciushco lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kothciushco is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Dufinbeger breaks from the clinch.
Dufinbeger tries for a takedown but Kothciushco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dufinbeger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dufinbeger falls off balance throwing a combination

and Kothciushco counters with a crisp one two that drops Dufinbeger! Kothciushco thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dufinbeger to his feet! Dufinbeger is in big trouble!

Dufinbeger throws a combination. Kothciushco tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kothciushco gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Krzysztof Kothciushco will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kothciushco cracks Dufinbeger with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dufinbeger looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kothciushco finish him?
Kothciushco connects with an inside leg kick.
Dufinbeger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kothciushco can pounce on him.

Kothciushco sends Dufinbeger crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kothciushco is motioning to the referee to let Dufinbeger up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kothciushco throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Kothciushco lands a big right hand that drops Dufinbeger! The killer instinct kicks in and Kothciushco finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kothciushco!
