Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Damo Jones!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bobbins fails to land with a series of punches.

Jones drives through and clinches with Bobbins against the cage.
Jones lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bobbins has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment.

Jones breaks from the clinch.

Jones rushes Bobbins and presses him up against the cage.
Bobbins can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Bobbins's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bobbins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones looking for a takedown.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Bobbins has him pressed against the cage.
Tom Bobbins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damo Jones.

and Bobbins counters with a nice body shot.
Bobbins digs a good hook to Jones's body.
Bobbins cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bobbins scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one.
Bobbins throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Jones wants to counter with a clinch but Bobbins pushes him away.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there.

Bobbins kicks Jones off and gets back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Jones is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Bobbins still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Bobbins has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Bobbins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Jones is trying to control Bobbins's posture but Bobbins avoids it.
Jones is not content to let Bobbins control the position.
Jones is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bobbins off and has taken his back!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
It looks like Jones might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jones is working for a rear naked choke. Bobbins is not defending it well and Jones has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Bobbins refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bobbins's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
