Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gutlaf Lagran!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Green is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Green is pressed up against the cage. Lagran has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Green down to the mat. Green avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lagran closes the distance and clinches up with Green, looking for a takedown. Lagran pushes Green against the cage but Green circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Green shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lagran eats them both and turns towards Green to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Bob Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gutlaf Lagran.
Lagran tries to close the distance and clinch but Green swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lagran shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Green manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Green controls Lagran momentarily but Lagran frees himself.
Green wants to stand up but Lagran is controlling him.
Green wants to sweep but no luck.

Green can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lagran controls the pace.
Green trying to keep a closed guard but Lagran is proving a slippery customer.
Lagran wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.
Lagran working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Green gets caught flat footed, as Lagran shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lagran prevents Green from getting back to his feet.

Lagran stands and steps away. Green gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lagran shoots in for a double leg but Green sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Green scores with a head kick. Lagran tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Green drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Green trying to control but Lagran is working from the bottom.
Green not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

and Green counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Green moves into the clinch successfully.
Lagran pulls guard successfully.
Lagran is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Green knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lagran on the ground.
Green wants to control from the top but Lagran keeps moving.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Green dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Green shoots in looking for a takedown but Lagran manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Green's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice body kick there by Green.
Green throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Green gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Green tries a knee to the head but Lagran blocks it.
Green is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lagran has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Green uses from the top position.
Lagran is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Green frees his head nicely. Oh but Lagran has switched to an armbar! Green is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
