Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Strelkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Parasenko! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parasenko has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parasenko jumps into guard, dragging Strelkov to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Strelkov postures up.
Parasenko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Strelkov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Parasenko wants to stand up but Strelkov is controlling him. Strelkov trying to control but Parasenko is working from the bottom. Strelkov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Parasenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Parasenko looks to have wriggled free... We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strelkov is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parasenko taking a breather here. Strelkov tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parasenko avoids the attempt from Strelkov to control. Strelkov is wriggling around trying to escape.
Strelkov just holding on. Parasenko is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Strelkov has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parasenko throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Parasenko throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Strelkov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Parasenko prevents Strelkov from getting the reversal. Parasenko has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Strelkov's face.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Parasenko looking to secure an arm triangle but Strelkov defends it well. Parasenko lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Strelkov hang on? We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Strelkov tries to get out of the position. Strelkov tries to lock up and control but Parasenko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parasenko punishing his opponent with strikes. Parasenko controlling from mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parasenko forces Strelkov back against the cage and clinches. Parasenko tries to pull guard but Strelkov holds him up against the cage and eventually Parasenko drops back down to his feet.

Strelkov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Parasenko is looking to take this one to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short body shot lands from Strelkov as the two fighters clinch.
Strelkov effectively controlling the action here. Parasenko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Strelkov pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ivan Strelkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Parasenko. Strelkov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parasenko shoots in looking for a takedown but Strelkov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Parasenko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Strelkov blocks a jab. Strelkov scores with a shot to the body.
Strelkov tries for a takedown but Parasenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Parasenko avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A momentary lapse in concentration from Parasenko enables Strelkov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Parasenko manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. That's two minutes gone in the round. Parasenko looking for a sweep. Not yet Parasenko, not yet. Parasenko keeping moving, preventing Strelkov from controlling successfully.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Strelkov doesn't manage to clinch there - Parasenko circles away.
Strelkov shoots in and bounces Parasenko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Strelkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Parasenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parasenko wants to sweep here but Strelkov controlling him for the moment. Strelkov lands a couple of digs. Parasenko controls Strelkov momentarily but Strelkov frees himself. Strelkov distracts Parasenko with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Parasenko wants to stand but Strelkov is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Strelkov pushing down on Parasenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Strelkov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Parasenko moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Strelkov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Parasenko dives on top into guard. Parasenko not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Parasenko slips nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Strelkov dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Strelkov looks to land a body kick but Parasenko moved away. Strelkov takes the fight into the clinch. Parasenko is pressed up against the cage. Strelkov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Parasenko down to the mat. Parasenko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nice sprawl there from Strelkov as Parasenko shoots in. Parasenko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Strelkov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Strelkov wants to clinch up but Parasenko keeps it at a distance. Strelkov stuffs the takedown attempt from Parasenko. Parasenko gets slowly back to his feet. Ivan Strelkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Parasenko. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strelkov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parasenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Strelkov somewhat. Ivan Strelkov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Parasenko fails with a takedown attempt.

Parasenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Parasenko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It looked like Strelkov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Parasenko fails with the takedown and Strelkov counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Strelkov throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Strelkov closes the distance and clinches up with Parasenko, looking for a takedown. Strelkov pushes Parasenko against the cage but Parasenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. It seemed like Parasenko was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Parasenko gets a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parasenko prevents Strelkov from improving his position. Strelkov wants to control the action here but instead Parasenko manages to pass to full mount! Parasenko landing strikes from the mount. Strelkov trying desperately to get to his feet.
Parasenko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parasenko moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Strelkov has worked his arm free - good work by Strelkov!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strelkov is looking for a sweep. Parasenko working away. Parasenko tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Strelkov is trying to get back to half guard. Parasenko has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Strelkov is trying to buck Parasenko off. Parasenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Strelkov keeps working. Parasenko is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Strelkov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Parasenko stands up and we're back to a striking position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Parasenko gets a double leg takedown into Strelkov's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Vladimir Parasenko. I think Parasenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
