Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Howie Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devil Due (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Howie Sinclair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devil Due!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Due connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sinclair. Sinclair circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sinclair is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sinclair looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Due looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sinclair doesn't manage to clinch there - Due circles away.

Due defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sinclair.
Sinclair takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sinclair shoots in looking for a takedown. Due tries to sprawl out of it but Sinclair keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Due manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A nice side step and Due releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Due throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sinclair on the side of the head.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Sinclair.
Due stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Due wants it to stay on the feet.

Due will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Due's corner calls for a 1-2. Due obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Due scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sinclair doesn't seem bothered though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Due's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Due duly obliges.

and Due counters with a left and a right that stings Sinclair.

Sinclair moves to clinch but Due breaks away
and Due connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sinclair doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Due pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Due throws a head kick but Sinclair moves out of range.
Sinclair throws a body kick that misses.
Due is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sinclair had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

A left and a right from Due both land. Nice combination.
Sinclair takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Due lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown but Due shows good takedown defense.
Sinclair wants to clinch up but Due keeps it at a distance.
Due throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Due throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sinclair attempts a counter takedown but Due avoids it well and moves away.
Sinclair goes for a double leg but Due avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Due continues to drive forward.
Sinclair is breathing heavily.
Sinclair takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Due lands with a nice combination. Sinclair backs away looking to recover.
Due throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sinclair misses with a wild combination.
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sinclair shoots for a double leg takedown but Due sprawls well. He's pushed Sinclair's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Due tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Due throws a nice looking combination but Sinclair bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sinclair shoots in for a takedown but Due shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sinclair shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sinclair showed some decent athleticism there.
Due has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Sinclair has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sinclair is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Due is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Due looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Sinclair controlling the position well here. Due rolled but Sinclair kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Due is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sinclair gets his way!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sinclair is looking for the choke from the back position but Due is controlling his hands well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Due is trying to get back to his feet but Sinclair has full control of the position and if anything, Due has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Due lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

and Due counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Devil Due seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sinclair dives in and grabs Due's left leg, looking for a takedown. Due pushes down on Sinclair's head and hops out.

Sinclair is rocked!
Horrible takedown attempt by Sinclair or perhaps it was just good defense by Due, which made it look bad.
Oh Sinclair is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sinclair blocks the body kick.
Sinclair seems to have got his legs back now.
Due feints a jab promting Sinclair to slip. Due then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sinclair slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Due throws a head kick that misses.
Due throws a series of punches but Sinclair avoids them all with ease.
Sinclair fails with a takedown attempt.

Due throws a counter combo.
Sinclair takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sinclair has a takedown stuffed.
Sinclair walks into a stiff left hand from Due.
Sinclair shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Due pinned against the cage. Due gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It seemed like Due was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Devil Due comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Due has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
