Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luimunaama Lare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudolf Hoess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lare comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hell's Bells. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luimunaama Lare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rudolf Hoess! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lare will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hoess circles away from the clinch attempt.
No luck for Lare with that takedown attempt. Lare stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hoess. Hoess gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hoess stalling in the clinch.
Hoess softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Lare can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luimunaama Lare. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lare swings wildly with an uppercut but Hoess uses good head movement to avoid it. Lare has Hoess pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hoess manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lare is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hoess can't fight it off and eventually Lare manages to take the fight to the floor. Hoess looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lare throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lare stops Hoess from standing up. Hoess utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lare postures up in Hoess's guard and throws a big left but Hoess blocks it. Hoess wants to stand and escape but Lare is having none of it. Hoess has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lare off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Lare tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hoess holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lare lands a shoulder strike. Lare fails to pull guard.

Lare tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lare is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hoess is keeping busy. Still in the clinch, Lare scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head punch on the inside from Lare fails to land. Lare wants a takedown.
Hoess has Lare pressed against the cage.
Hoess throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lare blocks it with crossed arms. Lare misses with the head strike.
Hoess breaks the clinch.
Lare closes the distance looking to clinch and Hoess counters with a head kick. Nice takedown defense from Hoess. No joy for Lare on that attempt. Lare is breathing heavily. Lare tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoess swivels and escapes. Rudolf Hoess is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hoess lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Luimunaama Lare has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lare showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hoess.
Lare fails to land the takedown. Hoess swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lare tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Hoess counter with a right hand. Lare tries to clinch but Hoess moves away and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Hoess lunges at Lare with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lare's hand. Hoess misses with a two punch combination.
Luimunaama Lare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Lare or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoess which made him look bad. Lare misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hoess closes the distance and clinches. Lare is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hoess pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lare drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hoess gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoess scores with a nice hook to the head. Lare tries to stall but Hoess uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Lare has Hoess pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hoess manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lare can't get the takedown.

A nice left hand lands by Hoess.
Hoess is trying to break the clinch but Lare has him pressed against the cage. Lare gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hoess pushes Lare off and scrambles back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hoess throws a combination. Lare tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Lare tries to clinch but Hoess moves away and Hoess holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudolf Hoess dominated that round. The cut man is working on Luimunaama Lare's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lare wants to clinch but Hoess slips to the side and Hoess counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hoess. Hoess wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hoess is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Lare scores with a nice hook to the head. Hoess wants to break free but Lare has control.

Lare is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hoess is keeping busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lare jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hoess walks away with a smile on his face. Lare gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A head kick misses from Hoess. Lare tries to clinch but Hoess moves away and Hoess counters with a three punch combo that has Lare backing up. Lare nods at Hoess to acknowledge the strikes. Lare shoots and misses and Hoess makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luimunaama Lare. That's going to take a lot out of him.

No luck for Lare with that takedown attempt. Hoess stalks Lare and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lare's face. Lare staggers backwards, shaken. Lare looks to clinch and Hoess counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lare shoots for a takedown but Hoess saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hoess goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hoess closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hoess lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Rudolf Hoess seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hoess connects with a single shot there. Lare looks to clinch and Hoess counters with a big head kick but Lare shrugs it off. Lare has closed the distance and engaged Hoess in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lare tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hoess has had enough of the clinch but Lare keeps him there for the moment. Lare has hold of one of Hoess's legs. Hoess is fighting the takedown attempt but Lare gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lare loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hoess working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lare. Lare is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hoess really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lare. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hoess has a closed guard, preventing Lare from standing up. Lare throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lare stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoess swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lare passes Hoess's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lare not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lare decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Hoess throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lare darts in trying to clinch and Hoess counters with a nice uppercut. Lare lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lare is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lare darts in trying to clinch and Hoess counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hoess scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lare shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lare lands a big shot there that rocks Hoess but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
A nice elbow there by Lare. Lare is landing with some decent strikes but Hoess is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Hoess really wants to buck Lare off and get back to his feet. The referee warns Hoess that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lare with shots to the head and body - Hoess looks very uncomfortable down there. Lare has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lare breaks from Hoess's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lare scoring with strikes but Hoess is staying in there. Lare raining down shots from the mount! Hoess trying desperately to get to his feet.

A close second round but Rudolf Hoess will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Luimunaama Lare's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lare takes the fight into the clinch. Hoess lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lare. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hoess as Lare tries to tie him up. Hoess breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lare tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hoess counters with a flying knee. Nice. Lare closes the distance but Hoess moves to the side and Hoess counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hoess. Lare lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hoess backwards. Lare swings wildly with an uppercut but Hoess uses good head movement to avoid it. Hoess breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hoess misses with a two punch combination.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lare uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hoess. Lare shoots for a double leg takedown but Hoess sprawls well. He's pushed Lare's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lare looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoess is fending him off so far but Lare persists. Nope, Hoess circles away and we're back to standing.

Hoess breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lare lands a jab to Hoess's midsection. Hoess circles away from the clinch attempt and Hoess counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lare is lucky that one didn't land flush. Lare closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hoess circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luimunaama Lare. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lare walks into a stiff left hand from Hoess. Lare wants to clinch and Hoess moves into the clinch. Lare works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lare throws and elbow that misses. Hoess uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lare's guard. Nice move by Hoess!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hoess's guard. Lare throwing strikes but missing. Luimunaama Lare overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hoess is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lare is working Hoess over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Lare works over Hoess with some ground and pound from guard. Hoess wants to stand and escape but Lare is having none of it. Lare makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lare scoring with some ground and pound. Lare trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lare with a flurry of punches that miss. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lare accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lare working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lare lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lare with a flurry of punches that miss. Lare loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hoess scores with a head kick.
Rudolf Hoess is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lare looks to clinch enabling Hoess to counter with a crisp jab. Horrible takedown by Lare or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoess which made him look bad. Lare lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hoess circles away quickly and effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hoess moves into the clinch. Hoess prevents Lare from breaking the clinch. Lare is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lare ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lare no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Luimunaama Lare has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hoess must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lare throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Hoess stands up from guard. Let's bang! Hoess closes the distance and clinches. Lare jumps guard and drags Hoess to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rudolf Hoess is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lare has a closed guard, preventing Hoess from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rudolf Hoess. I've got Hoess winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
