The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horiguchi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ibaka.
Ibaka keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ibaka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ibaka throws a lazy right hand but Horiguchi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ibaka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Ibaka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Horiguchi is rocked!
Horiguchi gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Horiguchi tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Ibaka is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Horiguchi buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Horiguchi!! Horiguchi is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ibaka throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Serge Ibaka!
Our winner, Serge Ibaka, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
