Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brent Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Thomson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Thomson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brent Brandon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Tyler Thomson!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon fails with the takedown.
Despite the aggression on Thomson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
We've been told by Brandon's head coaches at V C L training center (HOME OF THE TRUE CHAMPION that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Brandon shoots in and gets a takedown into Thomson's guard.
Thomson is pulling down on Brandon's head to control his posture.
Brandon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Thomson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brandon, into his guard.
Brandon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thomson is aware though and is defending well.
Brandon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brandon is on top in guard.
Brandon trying to control but Thomson is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brandon defends it easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thomson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Brandon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Thomson dives on top into guard.
Brandon is trying to keep Thomson in close.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brandon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Brandon is breathing heavily.
Brandon controls Thomson momentarily but Thomson frees himself.
Brandon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thomson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Thomson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brandon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thomson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Brandon can't keep his opponent in guard - Thomson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Thomson slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brandon is looking for a sweep. Thomson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Thomson controlling the action here.
Thomson moves nicely into side control.
Thomson has hold of Brandon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Brandon seems comfortable defending it but Thomson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Brandon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Brandon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Thomson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tyler Thomson!
A less than humble Tyler Thomson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Brent Brandon spoke after the fight, saying 'ill kill my opponent on his way home '.
