Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Espo Jaksinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azar Qasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Qasi's choice of entrance music: For Whom The Bell Tolls. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Azar Qasi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Qasi fails to land with a series of punches.

Jaksinen misses with a straight left. Jaksinen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Qasi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jaksinen dodges the punch combination from Qasi.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Qasi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Qasi misses with a punch on the inside.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jaksinen misses with a leg kick and Jaksinen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Qasi tries to bum rush Jaksinen with a series of wild strikes but Jaksinen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
